Pink Crochet Headband

I am crocheting a hat for my daughter. While crocheting, I asked her to try to wear it. When she saw what is in her head, she shouted like a teenager and asked me to stop and cut the thread immediately.  So my crochet hat is my pink crochet headband now.


This is an easy and as always, a free crochet pattern. The diameter measures 9 inches with a width of 2 ½ inches. This headband is can fit to a 5-7 years old kid.

You can crochet this headband within two hours and a nice stash buster too.

Needed

Crème de la Crème (Coats) 

(color: 0971 in the pinks)

Hook size: H/8 – 5.00MM


Terms

Ch: Chain

Dc: double crochet

Sl st: slip stitch

Beg fpdc: Beginning front post double crochet

Fpdc: Front Post Double Crochet

Beg bpdc: Beginning back post double crochet

Bpdc: Back Post Double Crochet


Pink Crochet Headband Instructions


Chain 66 (72), sl st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch3, dc in each sts around, end w/ sl st to join. [ 66 (72) dc]


Round 2-3: Beg fpdc (consider as 1st fpdc), fpdc in next 2dc, bpdc in next 3dc, (fpdc in next 3dc, bpdc in next 3dc) around, end w/ sl st in 1st fpdc to join.


Round 4-5 : Beg bpdc (consider as 1st bpdc), bpdc in next 2fpdc, fpdc in next 3bpdc, (bpdc in next 3fpdc, fpdc in next 3bpdc) around, end w/ sl st in 1st bpdc to join.


Round 6-7: Repeat round 2-3


Round 8: Ch1, sl st in next st, (sl st, ch2, sl st in next st, sl st in next 2 sts) around, sl st, ch2, sl st in next st in 1st ch. Fasten off.

Other end: Attach thread in any st, repeat round 8.

Fasten off.
