This is a free crochet pattern for Audrey Summer Top. Just in time for the upcoming season, the Audrey Summer Top is sure to be a hit with it's versatility. You can use this top for the picnic at the park, casual trip to the mall or as a cover up at your favorite resort or pool party.
This summer top was designed to be loose. I crocheted several tops where I cut the pattern before the waistline to serve as crop top as shown in the photos above.
Pattern stitch is multiple of 8 sts. This Audrey Summer Top is crocheted in round, in two rounds repeat, from top to bottom hem.
In this pattern below I used the combination of 2 colors. When I indicate the color in specific round, then there will be no more color indication in next round, it means you have to use the same color you used from the previous round.
Size S/M (M/L, L/XL, XL/XXL)

Laying flat measurements are: W-19" x L-26"

Hook: 4.00MM [US G-6]
Yarn: 2 strands of thread size 8 hold together,
or you may substitute it to 2 thread size 10 (Aunt’s Lydia) hold together
or any DK Weight cotton yarn (approximately 525 yds)
Yarn Used: Cannon Mercerized Cotton thread / 175 meters each ball: Color A: MB009, 6 balls ; Color B: SC040, 4 balls

Beg Shell Increase (beg sh inc): Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in the same st, finish off the rest of the instructions then in the same st where you start, put (3 dc, ch 2) in 1st st, sl st in 1st dc to join. Beg Sh Inc has made.
Shell Increase (sh inc): 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, in the specified st. Shell Increase has made.
Beginning Shell (Beg Sh): Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in specified st.
Shell (Sh): 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in specified st
Beg V-st: Ch 6, dc in specified st / sp
V-st: Dc, ch 3, dc in specified st / sp
Picot: Ch 3, sl st in top of last completed dc.

Sleeve Edging:
Attach yarn in right side ch sp of v-st of round 15 armhole. Ch 3, 2 dc in the same sp, picot, 3 dc in next v-st, [(3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in next v-st] around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join. Fasten Off.
Rep sleeve edging to other sleeve.
Neckline Edging:
Attach yarn in any sh st. Ch 3, (2 dc, picot, 3 dc) in the same st, sk next 7 sts, [(3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in next sh st, sk next 7 sts] around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join. Fasten Off.
