This is an easy and free crochet pattern for Chevron Bottle Holder with Handle with photo tutorial in each step. This bottle holder can hold up to 1 Liter bottle of water.
Another addition to my chevron designs free patterns, like Chevron Summer Bag and Chevron Bottle Holder. Here is another design for a bottle holder for those who like carrying their own bottled water in style. Of course any bottled water can be replaced but never the bottle holder.
A quick and easy project that can be a great gift for everyone. This also help to keep your beverage cooler for an extended period.
This Chevron Bottle Holder with handle is crocheted in round from bottom up. Flat measurement of the bottle holder ;
Diameter: 5.0" x Height: 10.5" (excluding handle)
Easy
Hook: 5.00MM [US H-8]
Yarn: Cotton yarn 4 Medium weight
Yarn Used: Lily Sugar'n Cream, shade : Nugget, 95 yds (1 ball)
All terms are in USA terminology
Ch: Chain, Sc: Single Crochet, Dc: Double Crochet, Hdc: Half Double Crochet, Sl st: Slip Stitch, Sp: Space, Sk: Skip, Beg: Beginning
Shell (sh): 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in specified sp/sh
Beginning Shell (beg sh): Sl st in next st and to 2 ch sp, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the same sp.
Dc2tog: *Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next dc, yarn over the hook, and draw through first 2 loops on hook*, sk next dc or dc- dc2tog-dc, rep *to* once more, Yarn over the hook, draw through all 3 loops on hook: dc2-tog made.
2 " square = 8 sts x 4 rows of DC

Round 1: Ch 5, sl st in 5th ch from hook to form a ring.
Round 2: Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), [4 dc, (ch 2, 5 dc) 3 times] in the ring, end w/ hdc in 1st dc to join. [20 dc]
Round 3: Ch3,
(dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the same hdc post, dc in each of next dc across, *sh in
next 2 ch sp, dc in each of next dc across, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st
dc to join. [36 dc]
Round 4: Beg sh, dc in each of next 3 dc, dc2tog in next 3 sts, dc in each of next 3 dc, *sh in next 2 ch sp, dc in each of next 3 dc, dc2tog in next 3 sts, dc in each of next 3 dc, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.
Round 5-13: Beg sh, dc in each of next 3 dc, dc2tog in next 5 sts, dc in each of next 3 dc, *sh in next 2 ch sp, dc in each of next 3 dc, dc2tog in next 5 sts, dc in each of next 3 dc, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.
Round 14: Sl st in next st and to 2 ch sp, ch 1, 2 sc in the same sp, sc in next dc, hdc in next dc, dc in next dc, dc2tog in next 5 sts, dc in next dc, hdc in next dc, sc in next dc, *2 sc in next 2 ch sp, sc in next dc, hdc in next dc, dc in next dc, dc2tog in next 5 sts, dc in next dc, hdc in next dc, sc in next dc, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. Do not cut, continue to handle.
Handle: Ch 100, skip 17 sts, sl st in next st, do not cut, continue to round 1 edging.
Edging Round 1: Ch 1, sc in next st, sc in each of next sts around the holder and handle, sl st in 1st sc to join.
Edging Round 2: Ch 2, (skip 1ch, sl st in next st, ch 2) across the bottle holder and handle, sl st in 1 st st to join.
On the other part of the handle, try to create sl st to the other side of the handle.
Repeat Edging Round 1 and 2.
Fasten Off.
