This is a free crochet pattern for a crochet bottle holder with a photo tutorial in each steps. I used tulip stitch in this crochet bottle holder pattern.

1. There are round that indicates that you to have to change the color, do change your thread before you end the previous round so that you could start the next round in specified color. For details in changing the color please click here.

2. As you crochet along, you may change the color of the flower according to your desired color.

Beg V-st : Chain 4 (consider as 1st dc and ch1 space), dc in the same st.

V - St : Dc - ch 1 - Dc in specified st

Beg Cl St : Beginning Cluster Stitch ; Ch3, 

Cl st : Cluster Stitch

How To Change Color


Needed:

Crochet Hook : Stainless Steel Hook # 00 / 3.50 MM

Yarn : Sock yarn, stash yarn , different color

Local Yarn: Baguio Stash Yarn ( Acrylic Yarn), different color

Tapestry needle for waving ends


Stitch Guide:

Beg Cluster (beg cl): Ch 3, (yarn over, insert hook in specified st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through first 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops, beg cl made.

Cluster (cl): (Yarn over, insert hook in specified v-st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through first 2 loops on hook) 4 times, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops. Cl made.

Crochet Bottle Holder Instructions:


Round 1: Ch 2, 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (7 sc)


 Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in the same st, (2 sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (14 sc)


Round 3: Ch 1, sc in the same st, 2 sc in next st, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (21 sc)


Round 4: Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, (sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (28 sc)


Round 5: Ch 1, sc in the same st, 2 sc in next st,(sc in each of next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) around, sc in next st, sc in next st, end w/ sl st to join. (35 sc)


Round 6: Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in each of next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, (sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st) around, sl st to join. (42 sc)


Round 7: Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, (sc in each of next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st) 5 times, sc in next 8 sts, end w/ sl st to join. (48 sc)


Round 8-11: Ch 1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) around,  sl st to join. (48 sc)


Round 12: Change Color : Green; Beg V-st, skip 2 sts, (v-st in next st, skip 2 sts) around,  sl st in 1st v-st to join. ( 16  v-st)


Round 13: Change Color : Yellow; Sl st in v-st sp, Beg cl st, ch2, (cl st over v-st, ch2) around, sl st 1st cl st to join. ( 16  cl st)


Round 14: Change Color : White; Ch1, sc in the same st, 2sc in next st, (sc in next cl st, 2sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (48 sc)

Round 15: Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (48 sc)

Round 16: Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. (48 sc)


Round 17: Repeat Round 12


Round 18: Repeat Round 13

Round 19: Repeat Round 14


Round 20-21: Repeat Round 15

Round 22: Repeat Round 12

Round 23: Repeat Round 13

Round 24: Repeat Round 14



Round 25-26: Repeat Round 15

Round 27: Repeat Round 12

Round 28: Repeat Round 13

Round 29: Repeat Round 14

Round 30-31: Repeat Round 15

Handle of Bottle Holder


Ch 60, skip 24 sts, sl st in next st,

Bottle Holder Left Side


Round 1:  Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in next 10 sts, sc2tog in next 2 sts, (sc in next sts) around, sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 2: Ch 2, (skip 1ch, sl st in next st, ch 2) around, sl st in 1st sl st to join.

Bottle Holder Right Side


By looking at the photo above and to the left,  try to create sl st to the other side of the handle.


Round 1:  Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next sts) all through the handle,


sc in next 10 sts, sc2tog in next sts, (sc in next sts) 10 sts,  sc2tog in last 2sts, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 2: Ch 2, (skip 1ch, sl st in next st, ch 2) around, sl st in 1st sl st to join.

Fasten Off. Weave in ends.
