Girlie's Crochet

Terms Used:

All terms are in USA terminology

Ch: Chain,  Sc: Single Crochet,  Dc: Double Crochet, Cl: Cluster, Sl st: Slip Stitch,  Sp: Space


Stitch Guide:

Cluster (Cl): (Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next st, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yarn over the hook, draw through all 4 loops on hook: Cluster made.


Crochet Square Motif Instructions:

Ch5, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch1, 8sc in the ring, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 2: Ch3, 2dc in the same st to complete 1st cl, ch3, (cl in next st, ch3) 7 times, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join.


Round 3: Sl st in next 3ch sp, Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), 2dc-ch3-3dc in the same sp, ch3, sk next cl, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next cl, *3dc-ch3-3dc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next cl, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next cl, rep * around, end w/ sl st in dc to join.


Round 4: Sl st in next 2dc and 3ch sp, Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), 2dc-ch3-3dc in the same sp, ch3, sk next 3dc, (sc in next 3ch sp, ch3) twice, sk next 3dc, *3dc-ch3-3dc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next 3dc, (sc in next 3ch sp, ch3) twice, sk next 3dc,  rep * around, end w/ sl st in dc to join.

 Fasten Off. Weave in ends.
