This is a free crochet pattern for Easter egg pouch using pineapple design. It has photo tutorial that may guide you on your crochet journey.

The pineapple design in this Easter Egg Pouch repeat three times around.

Size is   H-4” and W-2”.

Material Needed

Hook: 2 / 2.25MM Stainless hook

Thread:  Cotton Thread #8 (your desired color)

Tapestry/Yarn Needle


Stitch Guide

Beg Shell st:  Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc, ch2, 2dc in specified st.

Shell st:  (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in specified st.


Terms

Ch: Chain

Sl st: Slip Stitch

Dc: Double Crochet

Rep: Repeat

Sk: Skip


Easter Egg Pouch Instructions

Make a Magic crochet.

Round 1: Ch3(consider as 1st dc), dc, ch1, (2dc, ch1) 5 times in the magic ring, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.


Round 2:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp,  dc-ch2-dc in next 1ch sp, * shell st in next 1ch sp, (dc, ch2, dc) in next 1ch sp, rep * twice, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 3:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp, ch3, 5dc in next 2ch sp, ch3, *shell st over next shell st, ch3, 5dc in next 2ch sp, ch3, rep * twice, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 4:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, dc over dc w/ ch1 in between, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, *shell st over shell st, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, dc over dc w/ ch1 in between, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, rep * once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 5:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 1ch sp, (ch3, sc in next 1ch sp) 3 times, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, *shell st over shell st, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 1ch sp, (ch3, sc in next 1ch sp) 3 times, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, rep * once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 6:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3 ch sp, (ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3 ch sp) twice, ch3, * shell st over shell st, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3 ch sp, (ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3 ch sp) twice, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, rep* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 7:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, * shell st over shell st, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next 3ch sp, rep* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 8:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, ch3, sk next ch sp, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next ch sp, * shell st over shell st, ch3, sk next ch sp, sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sk next ch sp, rep* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 9:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, *sk 2 dc of the shell, shell in 1st st of 3 ch sp, skip next 2ch-sc-2ch, shell in last st of 3 ch sp, shell in next st, shell st over shell st, rep * once more, end w/ sl st in 1st shell to join.


Round 10:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, ch3 in the same lp (consider as 1st dc), dc in the same lp, ch2, *2dc in next shell, ch2, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.


Round 11:  Ch1, sc in the same st and in next st, 2sc in next 2ch sp, *sc in each of next 2 sts, 2sc in next 2ch sp, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 12:  Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in the same st, *skip 3sts, sl st in next st, Ch3,  dc in the same st, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

 Fasten Off.


String: Ch 60. Fasten Off. (use to tie a ribbon on top of the crochet egg pouch)
