Hook: I / 9  -  5.50MM

Red Heart Super Saver : 1 skeins (364 yds) , color Brown  or your desired color


Stitch Guide

Beg Cross Treble Crochet : Ch2, sk next st, dc in next st, ch 4, dc in two loops in the center stitch to complete the cross. One Beg Cross Treble Crochet made, click here for photo tutorial

Cross Treble Crochet : YO twice, insert in next st, work off two loops, YO, skip next, insert hook in next st and work off all loops, 2 at a time. Ch 1, dc in center to complete cross. One Cross Treble Crochet made, click here for photo tutorial

4" - 15 stitches  : 3.5 rows of cross treble crochet

Ecin Crochet Tote Bag Instructions

Ch 28

Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st across, 5 sc in last st, continue on the other side, sc in each st across, 4 sc in last st, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. (60 sc)


Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same st (consider as 1st sc), *(sc in next st) 26 times, (2sc in next st) 3 times*, sc in next st, rep *to* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. (66 sc)


Round 3: Ch1, sc in the same st (consider as 1st sc), *(sc in next st) 26 times, (2sc in next st, sc in next st) 3 times*, sc in next st, rep *to* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. (72)


Round 4: Ch1, sc in the same st (consider as 1st sc), *(sc in next st) 26 times, (2sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts) 3 times*, sc in next st, rep *to* once more, end w/ sl st in 1st ssc to join. (78 sc)


Round 5: Repeat Round 4 but having 3 sc in between 2sc on both ends. (84 sc)

Round 6: Repeat Round 4 but having 4sc in between 2sc on both ends. (90 sc)


Round 7: Repeat Round 4 but having 5sc in between 2sc on both ends. (96 sc)


Round 8-10: Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in each sts around, end w/ sl st to join.


Round 11: Ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each st’s around, end w/ sl st to join.


Round 12: Beg cross trc, cross trc around, end w/ sl st to join. (32 cross trc)


Round 13-22: Repeat Round 11 and Round 12.


Round 23: Repeat Round 11

Round 24: Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) 8 times, ch60, sk 18 sc, sc in next sc, (sc in next st) 29 times, ch60, sk 18 sc, sc in next sc, (sc in next st) 20 times, end with sl st in 1st sc.


Round 25: Ch3, dc around but having 3dc-tog in all corners as shown on photo below.


Fasten Off and weave in ends.


Inner Handle Instructions:

Round 1: Attach yarn in any st, ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in each st around but having 3dc-tog on both corners as shown on photo below, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 2: Sl st in each dc around, end w/ sl st in 1st ch to join.

Fasten Off and weave in ends.
