Girlie's Crochet


After crocheting the last round of the bodice, do not cut, continue to this Gina Dress lower edging instructions.




Gina Dress Lower Edging


Round 1 : Sl st in next 2sts of 5ch sp, ch1, sc in the same sp, 9dc in next 5ch sp, sc in next 5ch sp, (ch5, sc in next 5ch sp, 8dc in next 5ch sp, sc in next 5ch sp) around, ch2, dc in top of 1st sc to join (consider ch2 and dc as ch5 sp). (18 – 7dc sets)


Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same dc post, *(dc in next dc, picot) 8 times, dc in next dc, sc in next 5ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 3: Ch8 (consider as 1st dc and 5ch sp), sk next 2 picot, sc in next picot, ch5, sk next 2 picot, sc in next picot, ch5, sk next 2 picot, *dc in next sc, ch5, sk next 2 picot, sc in next picot, ch5, sk next 2 picot, sc in next picot, ch5, sk next 2 picot, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch8 to join.


Repeat the lower edging round 1- round 3 according to your desired length, end w/ round 2.


Cut off and weave in ends.


Gina Dress Neckline Edging

Round 1: Attach thread in any 1ch sp, ch1, hdc in the same sp, hdc in next st, (hdc in next 1ch sp, hdc in next st) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 2: Ch3, dc in next st, dc in next st, *2dc-tog in next 2 sts, (dc in next st) 4 times, rep * around, dc in each of next 2sts, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.


Round 3: Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) twice, picot, *(sc in next st) 5 times, picot, rep * around, (sc in next st) twice, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. 


Cut off and weave in ends.


Gina Dress Armhole Edging


Round 1: Attach thread at the armpit area in last 1ch sp, ch1, hdc in the same st, *(2sc in next dc post) 8 times*, (hdc in next dc) across, rep *to* once more, (hdc in next 1ch sp, hdc in next st) 3 times, end w/ sl st in 1st hdc to join.


Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) 16 times, sk next st, sc in next st, picot, *(sc in next st) 8 times, picot, rep * 7 times, sk next st, sc in next sts remaining.

 


Cut off and weave in ends.
