A free crochet pattern for Moroccan Pen Holder. A review pattern from a Japanese video.
I have been busy for the past months in Crochet Lovers in the Philippines activities. Since I founded this group my time is now consumed in community crochet workshops and bazaars to raise funding for the group. In bazaars, I have to come up with a project that is easy to crochet, but since there is a lot of said activity I have no time to make a new pattern and so I test other people's pattern and try to sell the product after I have made it.
One pattern that caught my eye is this Moroccan stitch. I just found this video from a Japanese vlogger. But since I cannot understand their language, I mute the video while listening to music and carefully watch and observe how she crocheted this beautiful project.
I write the pattern to customize to my own Pen holder. But I think it will fit any pen holder in the market. I recommend you watch the video first to understand the Moroccan Stitch.
I love this Moroccan stitch, and I am planning to create some projects using the same stitch in the future.
This Moroccan Pen Holder is multiple of 3 sts. This project started at the bottom part up to the opening of the pen holder. In round 5, there will be 2 different instructions, round 5 A and round 5 B, means starting this round, you will work 2 round using 2 different yarn in the same round.
