Red Summer Bag

red summer bag, free crochet pattern, thread, easy, foldable bag, beach bag

I created oval shape bottom for this Red Summer Bag, which is crocheted in round from the bottom up.

As beginners, you may familiarize yourselves with picot, bpdc and fpdc to finish this project. After crocheting the base (oval shape) the 3 rounds will be repeated up to the top.

This is a chic and fashionable bag which can be useful while walking on the beach or storage of additional eco bags to grocery store.

I added two strings on each end at the bottom to secure the bag when folded.

Size of the bag is 11” x 11”

Needed:

Hook: Stainless Hook US F5  /  3.75MM

Thread: Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Fashion 3 – Scarlet, 3 balls, 450 yards

Tapestry Needle for joining the handle and weaving ends.
