This is a free crochet pattern for Violy scarf using fan and cluster stitch with photo tutorial in each step.
Finished scarf measurements - 5.5" x 61" (tassel not included)
All terms use in this pattern are in USA terminology.
Ch: Chain ; Sc: Single Crochet ; Dc: Double Crochet ;
Cl st: Cluster st ; Sl St: Slip Stitch
Hook: US-I 9 / 5.50MM
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Cherry Red 386 yards
Tapestry Needle for weaving ends
4" - 13sts x 5R of dc's
Fan St: [(Dc, ch1) 4 times, dc] in specified st
Cluster St (Dc4tog): *Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next 1ch sp, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in the same sp, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook*, sk next 2dc, rep *to*, yarn over the hook, draw through all 5 loops on hook: dc4-tog made.
Dc3tog: Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next 1ch sp, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in the same sp, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, sk next dc, yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in last sc, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over the hook, draw through all 3 loops on hook: dc3-tog made.
The stitch used here is multiple of 10 + 2 for turning ch.
Foundation chain of 22
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, (ch1, sk 4ch, fan st in next st, ch1, sk 4ch, sc in next ch) twice.
Row 2: Ch3, turn, sk next 1ch sp, dc2tog in next 1ch sp, ch3, sc in next 1ch sp, ch1, sc in next 1ch sp, ch3, cl st, ch3, sc in next 1ch sp, ch1, sc in next 1ch sp, ch3, dc3tog.
Row 3: Ch4 (consider as 1st dc and 1ch sp), turn, dc-ch1-dc in the same st, ch1, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 1ch sp, ch1, sk next 3ch sp, fan st in next cl st, ch1, sk next 3ch sp, sc in next 1ch sp, ch1, dc-ch1-dc-ch1-dc in last st.
Row 4: Ch1, turn, sc in the same st, sc in next 1ch sp, ch3, *cl st, ch3, sc in next 1ch sp*, ch1, sc in next 1ch sp, ch3, rep *to* once more, sc in last st.
