Hello everyone! I’m beyond excited to share something special with you all, my latest crochet design, the Carla Tote Bag! If you love making stylish yet practical crochet pieces, this one is for you.

I designed the Carla Tote Bag with versatility in mind. It’s the kind of bag you can take anywhere, whether you’re heading to the market, packing your crochet WIPs, or just need a cute everyday tote. This pattern is beginner-friendly, but it has enough texture and structure to keep even experienced crocheters engaged. And the best part? It’s absolutely FREE here.

What to Expect

This pattern will be available as a step-by-step written pattern on my blog, just like my previous designs. I love making my patterns free because I want more people to enjoy the beauty of crochet without any barriers. However, for those of you who prefer extra guidance, I’m also offering a premium PDF version with detailed photo tutorials for every step! This will be available for purchase in my Etsy shop for a small fee.

Materials & Yarn Recommendation

For this design, I used Gantsilyo Guru Dapper Dreamer Combed Cotton, and I highly recommend it! It gives the bag a beautiful drape and durability. But if you prefer using a different yarn, feel free to experiment just keep in mind that your finished bag might have a slightly different look and feel depending on the yarn you choose.
