This is a free crochet pattern for Phoebe Baby Beanie.
I crocheted this beanie while in the hospital while I was taking care of my sister who gave birth to a 7 lbs. baby girl.

Back Post Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert hook from back to front to back around post of specified post stitch, yarn over again then pull the hook around the post of specified st, you now have 3 loops on the hook, (yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook) twice; Back Post Double Crochet made. Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC): Yarn over, insert your hook from front to back of specified post stitch, yarn over again then pull the hook around the post of specified st, you now have 3 loops on the hook, (yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook) twice; Front Post Double Crochet made.
